Lawsuit against former manager and Showtime: Mayweather filed a $340 million lawsuit against Showtime Networks and his ex-manager Al Haymon, accusing them of financial fraud through hidden accounts, unauthorized transactions, and diverting earnings, which he claims deprived him of a significant portion of his career earnings estimated at $1.2 billion.

•  High-interest loans: Reports indicate Mayweather secured a $54 million loan at around 9% interest from lender Hankey Capital, using multiple homes, his Las Vegas strip club, and private jet as collateral to fund other ventures.

•  Real estate foreclosures and losses: Two of Mayweather’s commercial properties have been foreclosed in the past 18 months, and he risks losing a Las Vegas building housing his strip club due to over $52,000 in unpaid property taxes; he has also taken out millions in mortgages on personal homes and faced tax-related seizures on condos that were later resolved with payments.

Jewelry-related lawsuits: Multiple jewelers have sued Mayweather for unpaid luxury items, including AJ’s Jewelry for $1.375 million over 26 watches and 15 chains with bounced checks, and another for defaulting on a $3.9 million settlement; a separate case involves $1.675 million in bling allegedly not fully paid.

Additional lawsuits and disputes: Mayweather’s promotions company sued PAC Entertainment for $122.6 million over a failed Dubai event; reports also mention a $3 million default judgment to a Nigerian firm for a missed appearance, and rumors of owing money to Dubai entities from past dealings
